CANDLE CARE
First burn instructions:
Make sure to let the candle melt all the way to the edge during the first use (about 3 to 4 hours). This ensures an even burn and prevents tunneling.
Wick maintenance:
Trim the wick to about 0.6 cm before lighting the candle. This simple action promotes a steady flame, minimizes smoke, and extends the candle’s lifespan.
Avoid drafts:
Ensure the candle is placed in a draft-free area. This prevents flickering flames and ensures an even burn.
Limit burn time:
Limit each burn session to a maximum of 4 hours to preserve the scent and quality of the candle. Let the candle cool down afterward and trim the wick before relighting.
Proper extinguishing:
Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish the flame. This reduces smoke and prevents hot wax from splattering.
Storage recommendations:
Store the candle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve both the color and scent, keeping the candle in optimal condition.
Burn safely:
Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep it away from flammable materials such as curtains or paper to enjoy safe burning.
Know when to stop:
Stop burning when approximately 1.3 cm of wax remains. This precaution prevents the container from overheating and reduces the risk of the glass breaking.
Out of reach:
Ensure the candle is kept out of the reach of children and pets to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
Repurpose the jar:
